Davis Vantage Pro2 Plus
The Halethorpe Weather-Watch webpage is updated from recent data collected by a Davis Instruments Vantage Pro2 Plus weather station. Additional data is collected by a LabJack model U12, data acquisition and control device, with analog output temperature sensors. The weather data is processed, weather maps and metars downloaded, files organized and uploaded - all by Weather Display software.
The weather station is located at 76°41'49.47" West & 39°14' 12.03" North at an altitude of 86 feet above sea level. Halethorpe, Maryland, postal zipcode 21227, is in Baltimore County. Located southwest of Baltimore City, near the intersection of I-95 and I-195.

The computer has a 12th Generation Intel Alder Lake-N N95 Processor, 16GB DDR4 SDRAM, and 500GB M.2 2280 SSD (dual 4K@60Hz HDMI/WiFi5/BT4.0), running on Windows 11 Pro 64-bit operating system. Backup power provided by CyberPower 1350VA UPS. |

Weather data is uploaded by the Xfinity Arris TG862 modem. Xfinity speed test shows a download rate at 390 mbps and upload rate at 112 mbps. Website hosted by MDDHosting on a shared server which provides 1 CPU core, 1 GB RAM, 20 entry processes, 100 processes, 10 megabytes/sec disk I/O, 25 concurrent MySQL connections, 250K inodes (files/folders). |
